our vision is to inspire all women of all body shapes. we want them to feel beautiful, feminine and confident while wearing our minimalist swimwear. every woman should have the right to wear any kind of swimwear, no matter what other people think. this is the reason why favyola was founded. it is time to normalize minimalist swimwear. each collection is designed with the philosophy to create pieces which make the most of women’s bodies. no matter which favy piece you choose, one thing is for sure: in favyola you will stand out from the crowd!
sustainability
we believe that sustainability is not only a must but also something beautiful. sustainability improves the quality of our lives, protects our ecosystem and preserves natural resources for future generations. so why shouldn't we act sustainably when there is so much good behind it? we want you to feel proud wearing our pieces. that's why we place special emphasis on slow fashion because we stand for people and the planet! we always want to do our best to make our products as sustainable as possible, from the all the way from design idea to sampling, production, and freight to our finished products. our goal is to eliminate all non-environmentally friendly materials from our products and packaging. our hangtags are printed on seed paper and can be turned into pretty flowers by planting them.
our factories
all of our pieces are ethically produced in portugal where we exclusively collaborate with family-owned factories. this not only guarantees high standards throughout our production chain, but also keeps our ecological footprint small. portuguese factories follow european laws and policies regarding workingconditions. all of our factories have been carefully chosen in order to guarantee high-quality standards. portugal is known for quality workmanship, researching premium fabrics, being innovative and improving their development process. producing in portugal was an easy decision and we are very happy to collaborate with them.
our fabrics
we are not only committed to making our swimwear look and feel their best, but ensuring our product lines contribute towards environmental change and sustainability. our swimwear is made out of recycled fabrics and SEAQUAL® yarn containing upcycled marine plastic from marine litter retrieved from the bottom of the mediterranean. all fabrics are produced in europe.
